The regulatory process has become a joke, and that does need to be addressed. But I think what Pfizer is trying to do is predict how the virus will evolve naturally in order to get ahead of it and prepare treatments for it. That is not the same as taking a bat virus and mutating in a way that makes it a human virus. The downfall for these people is that, (a) these are not vaccines against the disease and, (b) they are not behaving like traditional vaccines, instead traveling throughout the body and causing all kinds of hell.
