The AR-15 is in no way a weapon of war used on the battlefield, that is unless you are including gang turf wars in "battlefield ". But then again as I think about it, the AR-15 isn't really the go-to choice for the gang set, the tend to prefer concealables like handguns, sawed off shotguns, tec-9s and mac-10s (which are essentially uzis). It's not easy to conceal a 39 inch rifle in you pants.
