First Case Of Small Pox Related Virus Found In US Months After Bill Gates Mention And Vials Found In PA

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has confirmed the first case of monkey pox, related to the virus that caused small pox, in the US, just months after vials labeled small pox were found in Pennsylvania, and after Bill Gates made comments about the world being prepared for a potential bio terrorist attack of the virus.

Small pox is one of the oldest disease killers in history, it goes way back, Egyptian mummies etc. . I was vaccinated for smallpox by the U.S. government while I was a member of the U.S. force, 1989. A world wide effort to eradicate the disease from the planet took place in 70s, and 80s and is well documented. Is it gone from society? Well, that's the million dollar question isn't it?

In the 19th century, half of all children did not survive past five years mainly due to smallpox.
