Kroger CFO Gary Millerchip is telling Americans to expect price increases to continue through 2021 saying "Just four large conglomerates control the majority of the market for each of these three products (beef, pork and poultry), and the data show that these companies have been raising prices while generating record profits during the pandemic". Those companies are Tyson Foods, Cargill Meat Solutions Corp., JBS, and the National Beef Packing Company.
Boycott them folks! Let's teach them a lesson on price gouging!

Well, there's one CFO who might be on our side. Hopefully his statement will have some impact. A couple of years ago, our Kroger (Marianos) had ground beef at $1.88/lb almost all summer. Good times.

You know, it will take a lil extra driving around, but it looks like I'm going to the local butcher from now on. I hadent been there in a while (quite out of the way) but it will be worth it!
