If FB wasn't so valuable, it wouldn't matter if they censored us!! But it IS!! I LOVE the benefits of Facebook. It's one-of-a-kind. I keep in touch with friends and family around the country from different stages of my life. I engage with them regardless of their political affiliation, religion, or socioeconomic status. We share joy and grief, everyday moments and milestones, memories and dreams. FB allows us to stay connected/united in so many meaningful ways. In addition, I have access to people with shared interests and advice from around the world. It's irreplaceable. THAT'S WHY this censorship has such a monumental, horrible effect. I should be able to speak freely and keep all those benefits. Instead they have me boxed in by the threat of losing it all for one "miss-step" -including the resources, connections, and personal history stored in my account. That's real power. That's what's wrong. It's physically sickening.
