First death confirmed in largest US fungal outbreak in history--the Billerud paper mill in Michigan has had a total of 21 confirmed cases and 76 "probable" cases since the outbreak started in February. Face masks did not prevent the spread, and the plant will be closed for three weeks to allow for "deep cleaning". The first confirmed death was a contractor of the mill.
