A Mississippi School District has settled with the family of young Lydia Booth who was banned from wearing a mask that said "Jesus Loves Me". Though there was no such policy in force at the time, Booth had talks with the principle regarding "dress code" issues over the mask, which escalated to the District modifying the policy to ban masks of religious or political views. As part of the settlement, the District has removed the ban on political or religious speech on masks, though masks are no longer required. #FreeSpeech
