Texas has blocked an attempt that could have given a Chinese billionaire access to the state's electricity grid after a conservancy group sounded the alarm about the man's ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Sun Guangxin has purchased 140,000 acres near Laughlin Air Force Base over the past several years and planned to build a 15,000 acre wind farm. China is known for wanting to own U.S. Farm land as part of it's plan for world dominance and its apparent desire to use 5G networks to access personal information. Ted Cruz has introduced a bill that would require a "re-review" of land purchases near military installations or airspace in the country by a foreign person connected to or subsidized by a hostile nation such as China, Russia, Iran, or North Korea. While it may not advance in the immediate future due to Democratic control, it's a massively important bill to pass once we regain control of our country.
