The Werff Report

A panel on the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals ruled this week that a lower court erred when it ruled that corrupt columnist E. Jean Carroll could sue Trump for defamatory statements in 2019, given that "a federal law, known as the Westfall Act, shields government employees from liability in work-related incidents". Carroll claimed that Trump assaulted her in the 90s in a dressing room at a Manhattan Bergdorf Goodman department store. Trump refuted the claims, saying "I’ll say it with great respect: Number one, she’s not my type. Number two, it never happened". Carroll asserts that this statement somehow amounts to defamation. Get well soon E. Jean Carroll!
